I grew up in the Applegate Valley of Southern Oregon.  Where I developed a love for the outdoors and nature.  Upon graduation from high school I joined the US Air Force as a member of Security Forces.  While serving in the Air Force I completed two tours in the middle east and gained the rank of staff sergeant (click the link below to read a story about my time in the service).

While deployed in the middle east  I decided I wanted to farm eventually.  Between deployments, I managed my units supply warehouse and worked with the logistics team.  Upon leaving military service I gained employment in the boat industry applying automotive paint to aluminum boats.  Eventually, I decided to use the post 9/11 GI bill to gain an education in business administration.

I am attempting to start an organic farm in the Applegate Valley where I grew up.  I love to fish on any river but I am in to fishing for the adventure of a new places.  I drive old trucks because it means one less car being built for me.  I intend to continue driving old vehicles until lithium mining becomes environmentally sustainable.
